don't really need the stage 4, all they give you over 3 is brand new ballast. you could get brand new ballast and bulbs for $60 shipped from DDM and save yourself some cash.

I agree, you can easily get a member to make them for less than that.

Here's why I'm going to go with TRS

The retrofit source supplies blackflame customs who are in my state (NY), at least in a majority fashion. From speaking to Matt at TRS today, and also reading on the two sites.

I don't prefer the black look

I don't need any housings

I would have to send blackflame my stock lights and have them do it (since I can't myself, probably) when I have somebody I know who can do it all for me. I just have to buy the material and pay him some labor.

Plus there you have less options to construct your headlights, and it's gonna be over a grand

I'll look into that, but I was told different by Matt at TRS (maybe on purpose, maybe not)...

What's the cheapest way to go retrofit?

Is buyhids.com the best place for them?

http://buyhids.com/retrofit_headlights.html

Clarification on these options, from what I read and what I'm interested in...

Option 1: You get the housings with everything - stock housings, right?

Option 3: You mail your stock headlights and they retrofit it for you, then just have to hook them up back in, plug n' play...

Option 5: You get all the material sent to you, so you can do it yourself, or have it done professionally - again, into your stock housings

Is that correct?
Yes, that's correct. Sorry I missed your post before. Seems like a good deal to me, I am going the option 2 route to get painted lights. Seems like a really good deal to me, great quality without the higher price. May not be as good as FX-R retros, but the lower price is well worth it to me.

I've heard a lot of these HID conversion upgrade kits, and when I go to purchase the LEDs I want online, it asks me if I would like to add it to my order?
So if I were to buy the angel eye black housing headlights, would it just use my stock bulb?
I want the upgrade obviously but its expensive I've always thought it was included!
Anyone have HIDs? Is it worth the upgrade?
Thanks a lot

The projectors will come with a halogen bulb in them. Go somewhere like buyhids.com or ddmtuning.com and buy an hid kit and put it in yourself. It's very easy to install and cheaper to do it your self.

Can OP please make a note in the Sedan tail section that they:

Will not fit the Pontiac G5 Coupe.

That is a common question many G5 owners have.

Thanks a lot man you guys just saved me a lot of money.. The site I was going to get the headlights from said I could add the HID upgrade for an additional $225.00 and this site sells them for $40?
But that's all I'll need right? The kit comes with the ballasts and the HID bulbs, anything else I should know? I think I wanna go with the 55W as opposed to the 35W, but whats with the bulb type and color? I want a very bright white almost blue color. Thanks again

Streaking on headlights

I installed the 3rd gen halos a while back. Streaks and other debris are appearing seemingly on the inside when the lights are on. They've been on the car for 6 or so months. Is this common for these headlights and time to by a different generation? I appreciate the help.

I'm pretty pissed about the quality, I think it ebay is the culprit here. I'm going to have to put my stocks back in if it gets any worse = [. Anyone know where I can get any QUALITY headlights?

and they could even only cost 230 if you send your head lights. which you should do now since you still have projectors.

Just clarifying before I make a decision I might regret. How long does it take and have you done it. Also, would it look pretty gay if I didn't have them painted and just added the lights? Thanks a ton for the help.

you take that wiring off the stock headlights and use them on the new ones.
