ok nice. Yeah plastidip is tough, it's kinda unpredictable haha. The clear should look realll nice on black.
O gosh, reversing is the worst. I have someone get out and guide me sometimes lol

I need your guy's opinion, would plasti dip rims look stupid on a summit white sedan 2008 base model rims? Just wondering cause I don't see many sedans on this forum and the SS kit makes a world of a difference.

Same for me when I'm not at school! So frustrating.. That's why I love dipyourcar.com Yeah you've gotta pay shipping but at least I know I'll have what I need when I wanna use it.

Mine have held up really well so far. I've heard from some people that even after a year or so they look good. Depends on how many coats you put on but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Its worth a shot either way. My SS wheels have been powdercoated but I dont wanna spend 400 to have the SVT wheels done that way. Im gonna try it tonight. Does normal spray can clear coat work well? I didnt see a direct answer in the thread.

^ you CANNOT paint wheels if you live anywhere with bad roads/winter weather.
I spent over 8-10hrs painted a set of wheels once and like 60% of the paint came off it a bad blizzard like a month later. because the day after all the snow hardens on the road and on side of the road and just tearing into it.
Ive had my wheels plastidipped since october and they are still mint, we only had one good snow storm this year though. ive been very happy so far. Only problem that i can never get right is what to do with the lug holes.
On aftermarket wheels that have tiny lugs, there isnt much room inbetween the lug hole and the side of the wheel, so the first time i put my wheels back on after 6hrs of drying, the lugs catch the plastidip and twist it off around them, so if you look close the plastidip is peeling around some of the lugs, but its just sitting there, you cant even notice it and it hasnt gotten worse.

Hmm I will make sure to take note of the lug holes when I do mine. Im gonna do them tonight so I will post some pics of them. Is it better to let the last coat of plasti-dip dry really well before the clear coat?

I was extremely impatiant when I did mine so I really don't know what would be better haha. Probably couldnt hurt to let it dry a bit longer just to be safe.
