Black(not from paint!) calipers

Naturally, due to the horrible amounts of dust generated from the OE brake pads, my calipers are almost completely black. I'm doing new rotors and pads this weekend and want my calipers to look nice again so I will be cleaning them and repainting them. My question is: What is the best way to clean all that crap off? Just sandpaper? Or is there any cleaning product that aids in the process?

degreaser. Dont get it on your paint. I have found that is really good against break dust.

Ceraminc or semi-metalic will help prevent new dust. They still dust but not nearly as much as organic material

I got ceramics last month. Let the Monro by my house do them. If you pick them up, It is free replacements for the life of the car, all you do is pay labor and its nice considering there is a Monro across from work so i can drop it off, go to work, and walk across the street to pick it up.
