So I just picked up a can of GM black spraypaint, intend to use it to color-match my dash trim but I want to clearcoat also. Just wondering if anyone has put clear over the factory paint and if any other special prep would be needed. Thanks

 

follow the HOW TO, using the search function. Not being an ******* but that will save you a lot of time and a lot of flame. There is a exact how to on what you're doing. i would link you to it but im lazy tonight:P

if you paint anything other than the panels i found that that VHT vinyl and fabric paint works the best. no prep needed... like the pillars and what not is what this would be best for
