What do you guys think of doing the solid Red Stripe (large) down the middle with a black smaller stripe on the driver side of it like the Dodge stripe?

Like this, but Red big stripe, Red small stripe.

I think it would be pretty gay, either just the two thick tradition stripes, or the corvette fender stripes if you need to have stripes, atleast keep it in the chevy family

 

Never really been a fan of stripes but on the Viper it looks pretty badass. On the Cobalt, who knows until someone tries it. Could turn out good or bad depending on color combo's.

looks good on the viper. would look like **** on a cobalt.

 

black stripes on colored cars work. colored stripes generally look tacky. So i think ur idea of a huge red stripe down whatever color ur car is already sounds like a bad idea.

Besides that, think of why that stripe works on the viper. The body lines and the agressive look of it. The stripe follows the width of the hood and flows throughout the car. The hood is rectangular. Our cars body lines are not agressive and our cars and hoods are rounded with the bodylines on the hood getting narrower twords the front. Breaking this up with a solid line and not following the body line doesnt really look good or flow too well i dont believe. Taking all that was said into consideration, i dont believe this will look good on a cobalt

Mine was black btw. Probably wont do it, but figured I'd ask some opinions.

 

It would look good with the smaller stripe on both sides. I like symmetry.

 

Ya I don't see this looking very good...just seems too flashy for the cobalt. Vipers have such exotic body lines that it works, but the econobox definitely does not.

 

I like this personally. Not a stripes fan but if I did this is what I would do.
Thick center with a thin stripe on either side

i think it looks kinda cool on that red SS that Jazer posted. I do agree how ever that if you want stripes. keep it chevy.

 

I am not a fan of stripes. At all. However it doesn't look THAT bad.

 

jazer did it right by following the body lines thats why it doesnt look too bad.
