Thanks red07g5, I have an 06 so not sure if that was a change in 07 or not, but I will look into that. I'm thinking I will just wire it up into the stock harness as much as possible and play around with it but I figured I might have to run something to the fuse block.

That's another good idea articzap, I definitely don't want to put HIDs in all 4 because that would get way too expensive for me. (I am thinking I would need 4 ballasts, or could 1 ballast run 2 bulbs?)

Thanks for the input everyone. I hope to have more pics up tonight of my progress

Thats how S2000's do there high beams and they're spectacular at night. See if you can go to a dealership or something and get them to turn on the high beams.

i don't know how these will work with your projectors but you might want to look at

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-...6517QQtcZphoto

for the projector you have in the turn signal area

i wonder if its possible to put amber ccfl angel eyes around the projector where the turn signals are supposed to be, then use the angel eyes as turn signals.

damn why didn't I think of that? IMO that would be pretty badass and I was trying to find a way to incorporate halos. Too late as I am almost finished them and don't want to **** around anymore.

Progress Update:
- Lenses have been wet sanded, buffed, and Plasti-X'd
- All 4 projectors are fully mounted
- Shrouds are almost complete and ready for paint

Left to do:
- Wiring Harness
- Paint
- Fiberglass housing
- Re-seal
- Enjoy

I'll try and throw some more pics of my progress up in the next couple of days.

For those who are watching this thread, here are some updated pics of what I've been doing lately. Progress is slow due to school, but both headlights are essentially ready for paint of the inner portion and fiberglass of the outer portion at which point they will be pretty much complete.

well the turn signal i wanted to run as a halogen light run a bixenon projector where the headlight is and then run a small turn signal in there somewhere and rig the side lights that dont do anything to flash with the turn signal... so it would be TS BXP TS HB HB TS BXP TS

from the front and run the clear corners with a single big LED in them similar to the LEDS in the police light bars but amber

when i get home i'll post a pic

Hey thanks everyone

I ordered a broken headlight for $10 that has a perfect lens because my passenger lens was covered in UV spots and I messed it up trying to remove them. I also have D2S ballasts on the way (decided to just do it right and use HIDs). I also ordered a pair of CCFL halos to go around the main projector shrouds that look really sweet. Next week I am off school and should have it pretty much next to complete and will post pics as I progress.

heh I don't know if that makes me a bigger man... but I guess I'm just a DIY'er at heart. lol you don't want to know some of the jobs I've tackled! (Mostly for/with my dad... as I'm only 21 and still full time student at home).

i can do a lot of stuff but wiring and something like this would be too much, i would probably break something expensive or burn up wiring or my car so i'd rather plan buy everything and send it out for the labor

Little bit of an update...

I had them in my car for the first time to get a better picture of the overall look as well as getting the wiring harness mocked up which is now complete (huge thanks to jefferyss for the stock harness). Tomorrow I will put them back in to check my wiring and hopefully everything will function properly

lol thanks everyone for the comments

Ok, so I finished the wiring harness today and tested it out and I was a little surprised to see that it worked perfectly on my first go

So really there isn't much left to do except make them look pretty. Hope to get most of that done this weekend before school starts again. I'll keep y'all posted.

That's the name of the game right there .

Looks good. You gunna color match them then? Get some cut-off pics up. I'm debating on selling my headlights and redoing a set with a nicer projector.

Dont color match! I think the only way to go is chrome or blacked out.
