gen 1 projectors

i got some gen 1's and they say i cant put in HIDS so what would happen if i put in HIDS?

u can put HID's...the bulb size is "H1"...buyhids.com has a great price and great warranty

Don't worry about it, it just says that because they weren't designed to gave them. It doesn't matter though, they will work just fine. Most people put HIDs in their projectors.

What Gen 1 headlights do you all have? I have Gen 1 and I had to modify it to even lock in the darn bulb.

Ebay is cheapest. To install the bulb properly you will need to drill a hole so the lead faces down in the socket. They are not designed for HIDs and have hotspots but its better then nothing i guess haha.
