Okay so I'm painting the chevy emblem on the steering wheel and want to take it off the steering wheel so I don't have to mask off so much. I cannot figure out how to take the airbag part of the wheel of it's connected with two wires. There are clips but I can't seem to get them to pop off is there some way to get them off or just trial and error.

 

EDIT: On second thought, just get a pocket screwdriver and gently pry. Trial and error

 

pull those yellow center clips out.
but make sure you put them back in afterwards

 

Stickers are literally 2 dollars....

 

Paint it on the car. I wouldn't want to mess with airbag stuff. Disconnect battery incase.

 

yank and pull until it comes off or breaks, who needs airbags.....

kidding... but they are safety connectors.... careful those clips break super easy...
