in the middle of painting dash trim, BUT
im stuck on removing the peice that is on the left side of the steering wheel, the trim that consists of the dimmer and fog buttons, i have the actual trim off, but i cant seem to remove the wiring attatched to the buttons, which are attatched to the trim, if that makes any sense
long story shortm my trim is hanging off, attatched by the dimmer/fog wiring, how do i remove that? someone help please!!!

its easier to pull the button completely off the trim
and to do that just get a flathead and push in on hte tabs and bull the buttons out

yeah i checked virtually every one, and it seems that im the only one who had the problem of removing the wiring from the trim on that left side, maybe if im wrong and if there is a thread that specifies this, could u shoot me the link so i can continue this project?
Unplug the wiring harness's off the back. Everything on your dash is clips. The dimmer button i left in and put tape around in because i couldnt get that damn button out. Foglight button pops out. THeres just little tabs holding the button in, use a flathead. Look at the piece, and look whats holding it in, then bend some plastic to remove it. Pretty self explanitory. Dimmre switch is a pain so just put tape around the knob
yeah i left the dim button in because i couldn't get it out
i painted mine black it came out good
than i ordered a cobalt emblem the same one thats on the trunk and i put it on the passenger trim piece
looks good
