This upcoming summer, i will be removing the over-played evo mod and thinking about going wingless. However, i'm still very unsure of what kind of rim to aim for...i want something unique or not too common. I found this earlier today:



Thoughts? I'm just worried that gold rims won't fit too nicely with the black headlights i have on now. Thanks in advance

 

I like the rims, but in my opinion they would look better in black on your car

 

USMCField car, the gold/bronze would still look good with the black headlights

 

Yeah i was initially going to go black ekm3's...I guess i can always do that and if ever i want the gold look i can look into pricing for a powder coat...
Are there any rims that fit our cars that already come in gold? i found like 2 but they were kinda bad.

 

It will never be Rob's car get rid of the gen 3 headlights!

 

I was thinking to buy the 3rd gen for Christmas. Any particular reason why you are saying to him to get rid of them?

Bump, looking for a good looking set of rims that i can get powdercoated gold...need some inspiration

 

Those bronze wheels with OEM headlights or a nice set of retros

 

I am a big fan of the gold/red scheme, looks real good IMO. don't do black if your trying to do something different.

So you want to remove the over-played evo mod and add the over-played wingless mod while trying to be "original"?

Without bringing more attention to that oxymoron...I'll suggest Enkei EV5s in Bronze. Red + Gold or Bronze looks really good.

 

That was more of a momentary consideration, i am keeping the wing as is.
And yeah I've looked into the ev5's, wasn't sure how good bronze would look with the red though.

That's gold? I was talking about the bronze that the ev5's come in.

And it doooes look good... it's actually the car that made me want to get gold rims on. So now i just have to find the right one.
