Well i can already tell you the plastic quality is ten times better, I say this because from the look of the plastic, you can tell they used the same manufacturing process as GM did... Notice the bolt holes for the brackets, they are almost identicle to GM's amd the lens of the housing is also molded exactly the same way... both of which, in my opinion, should never have been tampered with. Which allows me to conclude that the fit of the lights within their spaces is more like that of the stock headlights than that of the older Projector models, if only they could just fix that darn cutoff on the passenger, they would be my number one choice!

yeah, i just hope the black doesnt look as dull as the other projectors. i dont want the headlight housings themselves to look like they're made out of plastic, but i dont want to go with chrome either. too flashy for me.

mine is straight. the kink in that picture is where the car is so far away from the wall, what i posted is what a nice sharp cutoff looks like

I am SO ordering these come friday!!!!! Personialy I HATE the way the light cut off line is on the old projectors it REALLY limits what you see, I mean sure they are fine directly in front of you but a tad off to the side like when your making a turn and its pretty dark.

I'm hoping these new ones are better.

i find it hilarious that people give a **** so much about the cut off line. it's not like the sight of view while driving will be that affected lol.

Cut off is VERY important. A bad cut off will cause glare for oncoming drivers and, at best, be a pain to them. At worst, it could cause an accident by blinding them. Depending on the law enforcement you run into, it could also result in a ticket or citation and the need for an inspection station to sign off on the ticket after correction.

Yeah, it's not that important.

yeah if your cutoff is in a crazy W type of pattern. if it's not perfectly straight who cares.

The problem with the cut off picture posted isn't how "straight" it is. No cut off line is straight. They are either z-pattern, "E code", or SAE. We're concerned with the glare that is apparently escaping the cut off line in the pic that was posted.

And to BlueSS-supercharged, "low-powered" isn't the issue. Power usage and output of the bulbs are independent of the construction of the projectors, which is what determines the quality of the cut off line.

Shouldnt the cutoff look like that? The passenger side should be aimed higher so u can see farther. Its not a z but i t think its better because its a lot higher on that side so u can see all the signs like someone said.

If you're talking about the part that went diagonally up to the right, then no. That's a normal E code pattern.

Guys guys guys! I just drove from Calgary to Fort McMurray, an 8 hour drive......some of it in the dark......and I am telling you that I had NO problems with the light output and with the cutoff of mine as pictured above. Nobody was flashing me with their headlights if mine were blinding them, ALSO I was very easily able to read the signs on the right side of the road. Unless people are travelling on my right towards me (which at that point I am drunk and or in deep ****), there is no worries.

If you don't like the cutoff.......just get the old projectors or stick with the old ones. And the picture above is the beams from BOTH of my headlights combined, not just one. They both look EXACTLY the same, not one straight and the other skewing to the moon. Plus that is not any glare on the right.....just the way it is ladies.
