Because I don't think the pics do it justice. I can actually read street signs compared to the old style of projectors. It goes off and lights up the shoulder, as lights should.

Of course the Z style looks sexy but trust me, this is more useful.

I just got my HIDs and ready to install, probably won't do until after boxing day. But I'll show you GOOD pics of the cut off. Not the pics I've seen on here so far. I'm not sure if people have adjusted their lights properly or just left them the way there were when they came???
Well the fact that it is hovering around -20C here in Fort McMurray does not help much either when I want to adjust my headlights. I am going to have to wait until I am back in Calgary and have the use of an underground parkade to make the final adjustments.

Mine fogged a lil in the same spot on both sides, maybe cuz it was rainin. My car was in the garage and the next day no more fog. I thought that once fog gets in, its gonna keep gettin in. I havent had a problem since. The only thing i dont like is the hot spots. I love the ECE cutoff but i want a sharp cutoff. The only other thing that bothers me is that everything but the high beams are always on, even as DRLs.

All street signs have a reflective covering which are designed to reflect light up to 35 degrees, just because your cutoff isn't pointing at the sign doesnt mean you wont see it. Also, with HID's and the Z-cutoff, you still light up the ditch no problem.

Except with a proper cutoff, no light escapes outside of the cutoff. No light = no reflection. Simple physics.

I have a proper cut-off and st signs light up blue, and IMO my lights are aimed a lttle too low... maybe the light bounces off the st onto the sign but i dont think they are Physics-Defying st signs lol

No, you get an ambient glow from the lights that reflects. No direct beam reflection though.

Well I have no more fog in my headlights.

A trick to try if you are still getting fog is to remove the headlights, take them inside, and take out the signal lamp and the two rubber covers for the lightbulbs and put a hairdryer on "warm" and let it blow through the headlight for a good hour and then put it on the cold setting for another hour and that should clear out any condensation in your headlights. Worked for me!!

if a car comes with these stock, as they do, you will be fine. the only problem you may have is if they are aimed too high and blind people when you go over bumps. but as for the halos, no you should not have a problem

Unless the cop is having a bad donut day or something....you have nothing to worry about in regards to a cop pulling you over because you have different headlights. They have better **** to deal with then a Cobalt with different headlights.

You will be just fine.......so quit worrying!!!

Well first I just wanted the black ones. But I got the chrome ones replaced under warranty because I could not get them to stop fogging up. The black ones don't fog at all and look SEXY.
