you mean the 3 led lights on each side? or the CCFL bar above the halos? the CCFL bar is connected to the halos so they are both disabled if you unplug that

unfortunately i dont see any plug for the led lights ... that might require taking the light apart to disable

Yes these lights look awesome. I just installed mine tonight. One thing I did find though was that the fitment was a little off. The black rubber cup for the low beam hits the head light harness or what ever they call the black piece you screw the headlights into. This was not a huge deal as all that was needed was a dremel and about five minutes.

The only thing now is to aim them. I will post a pic or two tomorrow.

When I said I need to aim them I just meant check them on a wall somewhere to make sure they are OK. It was late when I did mine and I did not have time to check them.

The other thing I noticed is yes they do fog up a bit but I'll just chalk that up to coming out off a box and into the -10*C night air. If the fogging does not go away I will do like DLP did. The reason they fog is I did notice that when I first turned them on it seemed the heat generated from the light was misting the warm air inside the lens and creating a fogging effect which then settles on the clear plastic lens. I think they just need time to acclimatizes to our weather seeing as they came from Cali.

cheers

The fogging seems to be going away the more I use them. If it does not stop I will try DLPs suggestion.

Nice to hear bro! Which ones did you get again? The black ones or the chrome?

Also, where did you get your pillar pod?

thanks! and the best of all is plug and play, the old one needed wire modifications

what do you guys look for when you aim? as far as left and right, do you try to match both the cut off line? or is it ok if it shows up as 2 cut off lines on the wall?

Sure...I'll take some pics tomorrow.

I need to aim them I think. Like the post above did you guys aim them cut off line to cut off line? I know you are supposed to put the car as close to the wall and mark on center of the lows then drive 25' back from the wall and aim the lows just below the centre line.

If Kaisoboy does not get any pics......which I am sure that he will......I will try to get some up soon too. Just kind of hard here with the weather being cold and all the snow that keeps falling also!

The driver side cut-off is just a tad too high. Other than that, they look great.

Finished....Dialed in

So I went and aimed the lights and took a few pics.

Before I started to aim them.

High beam from 25' away. These do not need to be aimed.

Low beams. I have started the aiming process. You can see the tape on the wall I marked out to help me aim the lights. The only light that needed aiming was the passenger side. It was about 6" out of alignment and the drivers side was bang on.

Pick under the hood plus the front end.

Left head light shot, lights off. You can see some fogging but it is going away.

Pic of front end, lights off.

Left side light, lights on.

Done aiming.

I used these instructions to aim them.

Looking good Kaisoboy! I can still see a bit of the fog in the lower corners, but it is getting less and less.
