Official Plasti Dip Thread?
The top coat with the tints gives it some gloss, its my first time using it and I should of laid it down a little heavier. I'll try and get some better pics when it's sunny.

hows everyones dip holding up? always kinda wanted to get mine done gloss white - gloss because a) looks better IMO, and b) think gloss is easier to wash and stuff. but idk.
Ive had my lsj gloss white for about 8 months. It will get an occasional tear from a rock chip but its easy to fix. Gloss is easier to keep clean. I usually spray it off at the car wash and then clean the whole car with windex and a microfiber. Then i do 2 coats of dipcoat. Takes a few hours to get it done but its well worth it. Matte finishes arent as smooth and much easier to stain
As long as you take your time prepping and put on 6 + coats it should be pretty durable. Make sure to get good coverage on the front of the hood where you grab to open and the side skirts especially in the wheel well, a lift makes it easier too when dipping. I also recommend using the dip coat protective spray after every wash, it gives it a smoother feel and makes it easier to clean as well.

Definitely topcoat it if you're going to do it. Matte/satin white is a dust magnet. Dipcoat, blou, turtle wax ice, slick mist whatever floats your boat but do it after every wash for a sleeker feel and better protection.
Has anybody dipped just the front and rear lips with or without the evo mod? Dragged my front lip under my car a bit and the car came without a passenger side rear grille, and i can get a black ss bumper for cheaper than gm wants for the grille so i figured id plastidip the lip black and swap out the rear lip from the black bumper
