Official Plasti Dip Thread?
I rather not apply it over and over
Its a little textured in some spots and heavier in others but, I don't think people are going to walk up and inspect my rims.. ha

Just picked up glossifier and black dip. Gonna tackle my wheels shortly. They are polished alum but am wanting something darker now to tie in my lights, evo mod and grille mod...as well as my CF stripes
Thanks! I did them when they were off the car, easier to get the edges of the spokes. It's not to hard, just put tape on where you don't want to be painted! Hardest part is taking the tape off, cause if your not careful the paint will want to come with the tape.. but I just used a sharp razor and cut along the tape line

Tank You!!! worked like a charm, it was much easier with them off the car and I will be posting pics soon.
Thanks so much
Ok so this question is plasti Dip related, but not auto related.
Has anyone used Plasti Dip on wood, more specifically interior wood trim in a house?
My house is 88 years old and still has the original wood trim, in the original stain, and I hate the idea of painting over it. But with Plasti dip being removable, I thought I could paint the trim with it, that way if I ever go to sell I can remove it a show the original stain. Preserving it rather then covering it permanently.

QQ - This summer I want to do my rims, not sure if I wanna do plasti or paint. How easily does the plasti chip, ya know, just from regular use. Just don't wanna be driving along and after a couple weeks have to touch up. Thanks guys.
You will be fine. Ive had it on for a few weeks. Looks perfect. Ive used this stuff for a few years. Its been on my bumper evo mod and its barely chipped..and this is 2 years of being on the front.
