No! No reason to do any sanding at all. Just clean them

So, plastidip or paint for my wheels? Want to do the euro style wheels, but can't decide if I wanna go glossy to make it look less "homemade" or plasti incase I wanna peel it off.

I like using the dip because i can peel it any time, plus any color you want them

Plan on Plasti-Dipping rims, then painting inside spokes victory red over the Plasti-Dip, followed by some clear coat...
Any thoughts on my Victory Cobalt SS?

Paint over plasti-dip can be tricky. Doesn't like to peel clean every time.
Still works if you lay the dip on thick enough but it ends up peeling in tiny flakes instead of one big rubberish sheet.

Thanks, however I wouldn't be too concerned about taking it off. I guess I was questioning the clear coat for the paint opposed to some glossifier for the dip

If you don't plan on taking it off you might as well paint all of it right? If you wanna go the plastidip route I'd def. do the clear coat vs the glossifier.
