I've had stuff done for 3-4 years now, still looks like the day it was done
Hey guys, considering dipping the trunk...any tips and how long did it take you? I plan on using rattle cans, did the rims awhile back and it came out nice, ima pretty decent painter tho. Bumps for tips!
i did my trunk, took about 3 trys before we got it looking decent with the rattle can, kept coming out streaky as hell, coulda been cuz it was a pretty humid day, never did go back and try it again but oh well no big
has anyone dipped something to gloss black and put it on a black car? i have a white high rise that ive been trying to trade for a while for a black high rise. but no luck so im thinking of dipping it for now. if it looks good then ill keep it but if not then im back to square one lol
Paint over plasti-dip can be tricky. Doesn't like to peel clean every time.
Still works if you lay the dip on thick enough but it ends up peeling in tiny flakes instead of one big rubberish sheet.
