opinions!!

im thinking about buying a set of skirts off a svt lightning. custom fitting them to my car and making side exit exhaust. i know i can do all the work myself but im just worried about the exhaust note. 4 cylinders never sound good with dual exhaust!! should i do this?

If you go on youtube there is a black cobalt ss/sc that has a side outlet exhaust doesn't sound bad, but I wouldn't do the sideskirts they wouldn't look very good. The exhaust idea doesn't sound bad, but you would probably want to go with like a flowmaster 40 series muffler, sounds pretty good.

i just hate the looks of exhaust hanging down the side of the car. if i did the side skirt idea it would look professional/stock!!!

Do it. Be different. If its done right, it has potential. I believe its a waste of money. It would be a final option for me, if I were thinking of doing it.

That's not a bad idea, Except I think that the ford kicker panel is a 2 piece. I think it would be cheaper to get the cobalt ones and have a body shop put a nice cut out on that for the exhaust. Personally if I was to do that I'd ditch the wing. I don't think it would look that bad. Give it a shot and post pics!
