Opinions Wanted.

Recently I asked my friend to photoshop how my rims would look in black because the paint on my stock ss rims is peeling and GM refuses to fix it under warrenty.

STOCK

BLACK

WHITE

I would prefer to just have my rims re finished in chrome but no place around here will do that...

IMHO, I'd paint them more of a gray to match the car. White pops too much and black just doesn't mix with that paint color as well, I don't think. Try somewhere in the middle.

GM will only warranty a wheel if it is affecting the drive, paint peeling is wear and tear...

do you YOU like, not everyone else

IMO go to another dealer if you are under the 3/36K warranty...

Good luck tryin to get a dealer to warranty the finish on the wheel. They're all getting stingey as hell when it comes to warranty repairs now. I've got a rattle kind of sound coming from my steering column and others have heard it but this dealer magically can't hear it. It would be a lot of work, but you could always sand them down and polish them back up urself. If painting is the way you wanna go, I would do a gunmetal instead of black or white w/ the paint color you have
