im having trouble finding a paint code with sherwin williams... all i can find is a dupont number and the oem number but sherwin williams says, sorry, no results found... the color is rolls royce royal blue pearl metallic. paint code 9540022 from dupont.

the paint code is the paint code regardless of the paint manufactuer. the only difference will be variance deck numbers and the ways the colors are mixed really.

tried that one too, thats the oem rolls royce number. im guessing it has to be dupont... its in their chromabase series.

 

I'll run it through my mixing machine at work today to see if i can get the code. We use Lesonal so I may have to talk to my supplier to get the Sherwin code.

 

the normal rolls royce paint code should apply to all. sherwin williams probablly doesnt have it. their paint sucks anyways. almost as bad a ppg. um if you wanna wait until monday ill see if i can pull it up on our computer at work.

 

i used the sherwin formula express and searched just for rolls royce and all they have for it is black...

 

well i found another color i think i like better, its a toyota blue, i seen it on 4 tacomas and 2 yaris today. im going to mix a small amount and add a bit more metallic to it. with at least 4 coats of clear to give it a deeper look

oh and btw I HATE PICKING A COLOR its harder than trying to get it up in a room full of fat chicks, you just dont know which one to pick

my trans am, it was repainted before but shitty quality, they painted over the moldings on the door, the paint and clear coat is flaking on the whole car, and it had been spun out into a pole and they just filled the 2 inch dent with filler that cracked and fell out one night, and the door was cracked so i replaced it.

95 im painting it toyota blue streak metallic, semi gloss engine bay, with c6 style wheels black with machined lips 19x10 rear 18x8.5 fronts

 

805k dark spiral gray. you'll thank me later lol. looks sexy on the trans am

 

i will check it out, blue is my favorite color and was wanting an arrival blue cobalt... bought black instead i just want my car to stand out from the crowd and be noticed more than the mudstain gt here... his car is fugly. its dark blue cobra front bumper cover y2k cobra r cowl induction hood and sounds mean as **** but gay i know he is cammed 4.6 2 valve automatic

 

805k is a sexy color. mighty mouse on ls1tech has it. looks black in certain light and charcoal in others. if you really wanna do a kool blue man i recommend the scion blue orrrrrrrr let me go through my color book. you need to find a color that really fits the car. not all colors look right
