Paint hood black in middle?

Paint hood black in middle?

my uncle owns a body shop ( a very good and expensive one ) and he would do any work i want on my car for free. should i have the middle of my hood painted black? maybe someone can show me pics of what it would kinda look like. my car is vic red.

there is a vic red with that sceme some where around here. the center hood/roof/and trunk looks pretty good. you could always go full two tone lol

if you have access, i would think up something unique. the whole middle of the hood painted, and 2 tone black and red is so played out. try to think up something different, that is actually unique to your car. that's my suggestion.

Do it!!! I agree the whole 2 tine is pretty played out but i like the black center hood with black wheels

well im up for suggestions, but i dont want to over use my resources. however i did do an engine in his cobra and a headgasket on his accord.

it's just that every 2 tone cobalt is black and red. he has the option to pretty much do whatever he wants. If it was me, i would go with 2 totally different colors. or even just make the cobalt one solid color that's different. i love dark grays. that's probably what I would do. a nice dark gray.

Since you don't wanna abuse the free paint job from your uncle than I wouldn't paint the hood. I'd paint the whole car flat black!! There's a member here I think his name is Steven flint or flit(not sure) but his car with that paint job is the sex. Flat black ftw!!!!

Mines done in satin with a dull clear on it. If your gonna do it, go down and finish it off around the grill

as for your idea do it....flat looks sick...but gloss or flat will look good if done right
