Paint Options....

So its come time for the Cobalt to get a refresh. its got 109K miles, a bunch of rock chips and small dings from rocks on the highway, and a few parking lot dents. I ordered a New Front Bumper and im lookng for a straight hood. I also plan to use the TC grills in the New setup once its finished, Headlights are now black housing lights. so im going to keep the car Silver, the question being what to do to make it "mine"

1. Two Tone

2. Racing Stripes (Think 70 Chevelle)

3. Pearl Paint.

For Some reason i am stuck on a dark blue color From HOK called Cortez Blue, for the stripes or the Two Tone. or a blue pearl if i go that route. i just wanted some opinions.

The Blue:

Here's the car...

complete color change with jambs n engine bay is a looong process my friend. I would just stripe it, or 2 tone it. And then thats just personal prefrence on your part And you cant just say "2 tone" without elaborating on what lines you will follow, etc.

stock or a complete color change. like it was said though it takes a long time to do the correct way and most dont realize tha mount of money that needs to be spent either.....2 tone looks stupid and most stripes on these cars dont look right.,

ok heres what im doing. factory Silver i never said i was doing a color change, im not jambing or doing the engine bay, ive painted cars before, this isnt my first time. i still really like the stripe idea, in that Cortez Blue Color.

This is the look im going for

I HATE STRIPES that go all the way to the bottom of both bumpers, but the stripes on mine would go to the end of the trunk lid on my car.

I don't like the stripes, ground effects, or bading on that car. It's a lose-lose-lose. Like Gestapo said, the old stripes Hockeyman had on his car were sick.

yea those stripes look like they prematurely end on the trunk, like its such a random stopping point, its either end on the top of the trunk, or end on the bottom of the trunk. Why end 10% down the bottom of the trunk? To me its just not the best stripe situation going on.
