Paint options

Recently, i have noticed that my clear coat is starting to chip on the roof of my SS, as well as around my taillights on my trunk lid. Rock and bug damage on my hood are also not aesthetically pleasing. So i am going to repaint all three. My first thought for durability and looks is a satin black. My question is...has anyone gone with a different color for just those three components, and did it look out of place. Also, what should be done with the wing?

iven seen the hood, roof and trunk done in plasti dip looks gay as hell.

i like when people do the roof gloss black, but only the roof. (though about doing this myself)

but as far as the hood/trunk, personally, i would re-do the hood the stock color and possibly get a cf trunk

opinions are like a**holes........... lol if you want to so a flat satin black just plastidip your whole car. i did my hood and it looked good, except for streaks cause i used rattlecans and when i peeled it off it left specs and pitted the clearcoat. im thinking that was due to collision damage being fixed and the collision center used sub par clear. too bad you're not in texas. i have a buddy that plastidips cars.

Black. Thought about plastidipping it like serega did when he had it orange and black but honestly I have so many projects on.my plate. Just finished my bike back.in July. Got another one to do and an old truck to restore so not a lot of time. Also doesn't help.I work 12 hours a day 6 days a week.

I've only really dealt with real paint only plastic dipping I've done was rattlecan. Above are pics of my bike and no that's not a blue light shining on it In The dark that's the paint.
