I know alot of people have painted their calipers with the Dupli-Color kit. I'm going to do this too, but I also want to paint the rear drums. I plan on painting the rear drums black, but I don't know which paint to buy and use. Should I get a another Dupli-Color kit and paint the drums black, or should I use some regular spray paint?

Yeah mine are rusting too..I just want something to at least cover the rust.

 

I already painted my calipers Red

Make sure you thoroughly scrape that rust **** off before you paint your drums though, i plan on using a wire brush and a good penetrating oil

 

I went to Napa and got them to mix a pint of paint to match my car. I sanded down the drums and calipers and brushed on the paint. Painted them last summer, and its still on there.

drums are not a show piece so please don't try to show them off

black will hide the rust without making them stand out...
