Painted bowtie this weekend

Kinda went for the old school bowtie look, i think it came out pretty well. Plus it matches my red inserts

What would you think about a purple trim with a silver tie for a girl? Purple is my fave color but I won't be able to get my car a paint job for a long time... lmao. A purple tie would look retarded.... so Any ideas? If it's possible. haha

yea id say defitaly white with purple trim if anything, cuz the white will match your car, as though looking like its just a purple badge. hence the black and red combo with my black car. but in the end its what you like so silvers fine too. the point is, for the bright color to be the accent color, so its not so "in your face"

Amazing. Black and Red. Favorite combination in colors, especially on a black balt.

See, Blurple is cool too ^_^ Anywho. See, as long as it's ANYTHING but the gold. And my rear bowtie looks like someone smashed it. the top of it is all cracked inside, so I cant feel any creases. So someone must have been pissed at me and messed it up...... So painting it would be best i think.

it wasn't like that two weeks ago..... hah.

It would have been 2 minutes to take off the front one and maybe 20 mins for the back one, you prolly spent an -/+ hour to mask it.

One question how much overspray did the other car's get?

Um...ok but you masked the whole front of the car!!!!

Also to remove any badge all that is needed is
1. Dental Floss
2. Elbow Grease
3. Goo B Gone

Then remove all sticky residue, add 3M double face tape, stick badge back onto the car AND...... WHAMO!!

If you want to ensure you put it in the same position, simply outline the badge b4 taking it off with ... masking tape

20 mins to take off the back emblem....don't forget cleanup -- removing the messed up adhesive on the back of the emblem -- and new tape and reinstalling it AFTER you polish out any scratches you left in the paint -- and the prep to make sure there isn't any Goo-Gone left to prevent the new tape from adhering.

It takes MAYBE 5 minutes to put the newspaper on with a little extra time getting the tape around the emblem perfectly (which is time you would spend on the prepping the emblem off the car for paint). And then a WHOLE minute removing the newspaper after the paint dries. You "glued-on emblem removers" give me a good laugh
