I want to paint mine tomorrow, but I'm in upstate NY, supposed to be like 55 out... Think that'll be warm enough for it to setup and dry properly?

Please don't be dumb and rush it or paint only some of it like the originator of the post.

If it's not "Nice" outside, get a hair dryer or simply wait.

The hair dryer will dry the paint, but it will also put all kinds of crap on it when its drying.

Brian, what do you think about using a spray paint application instead of brush on? I've had good results in the past using this method. Mind you, it only lasts about 2 seasons before they have to get redone. Keep up the good posts my fellow Canuck!!

I'm definitely not going to have a$$ it, if I do it (which i'm going to) I'll take as long as it take to make it paerfect. Just was looking for input on whether or not 50-55 degrees out would cause me any problems.

Spray Peels off much faster.

IMO.. If you jack the car up on 4 stands with all the tires off in a comfortable well lit area like a warm garage, you will be able to prepare the surface very well and take your time.

Do one corner at a time and take a break. Rushing a job like this will waste your efforts as it will look like crap and you won't be happy with it..

The calipers look pretty good but I noticed that there is now paint in spots on the brackets which in my opinion is not that great looking.

I will probably just polish my calipers like I did on my Trans Am (that is if they are aluminum)

I went to my local vinyl shop and had them cut out to the size I wanted. I painted them with two coats of duplicolor red and then applied the vinyl and then one coat of duplicolor high temp clear coat
