Painting vs Vinyl Badging

Hey guys. I was wondering if there is much of an advantage or disadvantage to using vinyl overlays on badges ( to change color) versus painting them? Seems like vinyl is a lot easier.. no badge removal? Vinyl overlays don't last as long? Anything Im missing?

from being around vinyl a lot over the past couple years I'll say from experience that its 100x easier then taking the badges off and painting them.

ESPECIALLY if its the small SS badges.

hardest thing about the vinyl will be lining it up. once you do that and you stick it on there, you're golden and done.

Paint will last longer, but the vinyls wont give you trouble.

and again, I worked with LOTS of different applications of vinyl over the past years.

if you do vinyl, spend the couple extra bucks and use good stuff like 3M Procal. its thicker and you can lift it and replace it if you mess up
