Hey guys,
Traded my 06 SS/SC wheels for some 07 Polished, The guy wanted them, so I didn't care because I'm just painting them black. Anyway, the question of the hour is, Do I need to strip anything on the polished wheels? I know the coating on the others needed to be removed, but I don't know anything about the polished. Any help will be much appreciated, thanks a ton ahead of time!

 

Well I wouldn't say you'd have to "strip" anything, but you should sand the area you're painting down first...

 

I would say just sand blast them and paint, But if dont have a blaster then just sand with like some 400 or 600 and paint
