Based on the light emission, it appears that you had received the correct bulb colors.
A 6000k light emission will have a small hint of blue, which is generally seen on the head light housing and not on the light emission on the road. Depending on the nature of the housing, this small hint of blue will either be accentuated or washed out in the reflector housing.
For the 8000k fog lights, a small housing will wash out a majority of the color in the light emission due to the confined housing increasing the operating temperature of the HID bulb, the blue color of an 8000k bulb will be washed out and resemble a 6000k bulb.
