OK guys, hopefully in the spring if all goes well we are gonna be repainting my Cobalt and I already know some of the things I want to do, including SS front bumper, removing the door molding trim, removing the badges, and going wingless. But I also kind of like the way the G5 trunk looks on the cobalt without the center reverse lights. So here's where I want some opinions. What do you guys think of the G5 trunk on a Cobalt? Also I would like to see some pics of Cobalt's with G5 trunks on them. I know there are some out there so please post them for me, and vote on my poll. Thanks in advance guys!

hope you are going to paint it a diffrent color? and go with the G5 trunk!

Seeing all these pics makes me just wanna do it more! Thanks Guys. The car will be repainted the same color although I'm thinking of having a little more blue added to the paint but I'm really thinking about doing black down the hood, roof, and trunk and my wheels spokes will be painted black with the polished lip. Gotta find and afford an SS front bumper before we repaint it too, but I'm getting really anxious about repainting it.

 

i think the g5 trunk stretches out the ass of the car giving it that wider look which is definitely nice since these cars are super narrow

i would like to go G5 trunk but i like the fact that i put LED lights in the outer portion of the inner lights giving it a custom look but i may sacrifice that if i come across a good deal on a G5 trunk

 

Wait wait wait. You want to be unique by doing the SS bumper, wingless, debadge and take off the molding? You realize that's not unique at all right?

But Im indifferent on the G5 trunk. I like the look, but I don't think it's THAT much better then the Cobalt. So I won't vote

 

Around here stock base models are the norm, with an occasional stock SS so yeah it will be different and there's something that just screams at me seeing these balt's with G5 trunks and it makes me wanna go out and find one right now, lol.
