that looks great man... i wanted to get a cf trunk and do that because it would look weird w/ my wing, ive been even closer to painting my roof recently also.

looks pretty good man.. having done this technique quite a bit my only criticism is your weave sizing and spacing.. it looks like he stretched the mask a little too much in some places.. causes a little too much distortion of the squares in the "weave"

other than that.. looks good

^I noticed that too, but its whatever, still looks badass. what matt do you use to get that effect, i used the little kitchen grip mats you put cups on n **** but these look like little cutout squares, iw onder what you use as a template

i buy the **** you put under the carpet to keep it from sliding.. its basically the same thing.. only a shitload cheaper.. lol

Thats what i used for my computer desk, but it doesnt look the same as this, this looks more like CF compared to mine that has the squares, at first glance i thought it was the same ****. this is mine

lmao and def. does not look good with a flash on



thats not the same style pattern, looks like OP used somethign else then the grip mats that I have used


The matt's make rows of all 1 color and then an alternating pattern in between, where he has all different alternating squares, weirdd

nope, there is a black base coat to start the process.
