Stock Cobalt Tail lights?

Hey, i'm new to this whole site ...friends just call me Roc. I'll give my intro first then ask my question. I own a 1956 Buick Special, 1993 Chevy Caprice, and a 1950 ford 2-door. I own and operate a custom shop in Southern illinois. Up untill now i've been working strictly w/ classic cars, but i've realized the potential in customizing newer stock. So... ....my buddy wants cobalt tail-lights (the round ones) grafted into his car.

Question is where can i find these. can you get this kind of stuff through dealerships or parts suppliers. Or, i guess if anybody was changing out their's and wanted to sell me their stock ones, that would be cool too.

Please help

Rocco

www.ebay.com!

Always a good first place to look. I also think we kinda share lights with the HHR just instead of diagonal they are vertical, but I could be wrong. You can definately get them from a dealership, and they should be fairly inexpensive.

Just out of curiousity what car is he trying to have them grafted to?

Thanks for the info... i think i'll check e-bay first. I don't know why i didn't think to go to the dealership .... uhhh, i'm an idiot. I guess because every time i go there for vintage car parts, they look at me like i'm freakin' frankenstien.

And no, the HHR lights are different, but about the same size. My brother just bought a black HHR and i asked him to take a detailed pic of the tail. The lights are just thin lenses (like corvette lights) that don't wrap around the side, where as the cobalt outter tail lights do curve around the side.

Sorry, the car is kinda under wraps right now, but when it's done, i'll post some pics. If it turns out good, it'll bring my shop some serious attention in different car cultures.
