Ok, so I bought the retrofit kit and I'm taking my lights apart to paint them. My car is imperial blue metallic with silver accents and tinted lights and windows. The delimma I'm having is I'm debating on what color to paint my headlights. My two color choices are black or imperial blue metallic.

blue is my 2 cents tho. alot of black out and about. If mine didnt come out so good i would go back and do yellow

I somehow new imperial blue would b popular lol...

I like the idea of imperial blue but the gf thinks black would look better with my tail lights.

just to give you a taste, this is what my car did look like befor i went back to stockers (was sick of looking at the stress cracks in the lights, and missed my stock ones)

i say gloss black just cause ur tails are tinted and will go along with them but it is a big toss up, if u colour match it will resemble a corvette style headlight

I would go for body colour.....looks close enough to black, that it'll be hard to notice, unless you have a keen eye.

I ended up doing them black because it was easier and if I sell the car, i will have better luck getting rid of the lights if they are black.

it doesnt affect the light output if you paint the chrome part also?

I have retro fit kit on the way. It uses a projector so the reason I painted the reflector black was to help eliminate glare.
