Got it screw that long to take it off now I'm back to should I paint the inside of the wheel or not so no silver shows (I'm assuming yes or everyone will see silver on the inside and it will look retarded) and should I take the wheels off before painting them (I'd prefer not to have to take the wheels off for fear of putting them back on with the fresh paint and scratching them, and I am assuming I should sand then prime then paint, or is no priming needed? I'll prob do 3 coats of paint and 2 coats of clear hope it won't be too heavy

i didnt paint the inside of the wheel, the overspray getting inside is enough for me. yes take the wheels off haha. just look up a youtube video or something, it will show you everything you have to do.

sand, prime, paint, clear.

no you dont have to take the tires off, i just put cards in between the tire and rim all the way around. probably need 2 or 3 decks. or you can tape it but thats no fun

Yeah I only did PlastiDip, to see if I liked the all black wheels. Now that I've tried it, and found out it takes longer to take off than to put on, I'm going paint from here on out.

When we painted my friend's Jeep wheels, we used baseball cards, football cards, note cards and shoved them between the tire and rim. It also is a nice level distance to spray from
