Yellow road paint removal

While I was driving home from Lansing MI some jack ass passed me The road was being painted with yellow strips (road paint) I've got this crap in little tiny specks ALL down the drivers side of my Laser Blue ride. It was far from home, and it's hopelessly dried on. How can I remove this stuff.

You can try a clay bar, but if that doesn't work your pretty much stuck with wetsanding it and buffing, which I would recommend leaving to a professional.

You will need lots of patience..... I've worked at a detail place and we've worked on cars with same paint overpraying and what just happened to you... Claybar will work but it will take time.. and make sure you do it an area at a time.... And make sure the claybar is ALWAYS lubricated

Traffic paint isn't exactly the easiest thing to get off. Its either Waterbased, Oil Based or Acetone. If its oil or acetone based then you're gonna have one hell of a time getting it off. I suggest using goof off. If that fails then use a claybar. The longer you wait the more it cures. The entire point to paint coatings like that is to dry quickly and not come off.

This happened to me a year ago, but I fortunately put a good coat of wax on the car a couple of weeks before it happened. I was able to pick most the large drops off with my fingernails, and the tiny ones came off with a claybar.
