My last autocross run I took a passenger along with me. The previous 4 runs I'd been able to induce a slight slide to take the left corner in the slide-show. No issues previously...

However, on this run I had a passenger... maybe 200lbs? (Sorry Tyler, no idea what you weigh) and when I initiated the 'slide'....

Well HERE are the results of my actions...

 

WOOOOO!! fwd drifting ftw! It's funny how something so miniscule can throw off everything going around a track like that.

I know how that feels haha. I auto x'd for a while when I first got my car, and I've down that a few times. I was also the region champ

I always do that kind of stuff on my 1st runs out, to check for grip and feedback. Nothing wrong with a little fun

Yeah, the original resolution is 3000/2000 so I can zoom in and crop them.

 

haha i did the same thing the first time i had a passenger, it was my 4th run so i had a feel for the track already, but not for his 200+ lb ass, except i took out aout 5 cones lol DNF and took the outside perimeter of the track

Last race of the fall season is this coming Sunday. I've got 1st place in novice locked up. The next series we run I'll probably run a local category they have called ST1. (Street tire stock) They mixed things up a bit with a few PAX adjustments but it should be fun. On several of the events this (fall) season my times were very competitive. I'm not even on the 'good' tires. (Dunlop's)
