So I have been bleeding the H/E System and adding fluid as I go. Temps are staying lower but when I do a hard pull I am still seeing KR3 up wards of 4.5 when i look at it. I have to do a record and see what the peak is. Although I will say I have not seen KR as often as I did before.

Okay well thats atleast in the right direction.

If the IAT2 temps are staying down we can then data log and go from there.

I'm glad things are starting to get better.

Where are you seeing the KR? In the upper rpm range?

I will let ya know as i need to find a clear straight road after work to do a few pulls and see.

On a side note Bluelighting found me a new IC pump on the forum for $100 shipped the question I have is would my pump have stopped working before because of all the air in the system and seeing that it has been working well for a few days now should I replace it or put the money towards a DP and Opt B what sould I do first. Arrg decisions!

Staged is the right guy to talk to on that one. I have zero thoughts on that.

I will have to meet up with Shane (my other tuner) if you'd like to tune over the weekend mike. Or if you can hold out till monday when i am back in town.

We can do some data logging tonight however.

In my honest opinion, I would get your current situation figured out before you add any new mods like opt b or a downpipe. The air trapped wouldnt so much stop the pump from working, but would prevent the coolant from flowing properly thus causing higher IAT2's.

So Staged question. I now have her bled and the cooling working with a new IC pump on the way. I am still getting knock retard indications. I have noticed that my fuel consumption is out of this world (which I expected a slight increase with the bigger injectors but not this much) and the other day my buddy with a Evo 9 was behind me (like a proper Evo should be LOL and he said I was pouring black smoke out my tail pipe during acceleration. So obviously I am running super pig rich right? Would this cause the KR indications as it is pulling timing to lean her out? Would tweaking the tune help this?

You do not pull timing to lean it out....

Being too rich or too lean can def cause KR. Have you ever logged your fuel trims?? I bet they are out of whack for sure. Do you have a wideband? I'm interested to see what your A/F ratio is. If you're pouring out black smoke at WOT I'm willing to bet you're in the low 10's. Something is def not dialed in correctly with your tune.

Now that you will have your cooling system on par, I suggest getting your tune dialed in.

We already re-data logged. Waiting to hear back from Vince and hopefully the adjustments corrects this.

Yeah I figured i would need a wideband to tweak it for best results and I am working on that. I just put this up as other stuff i have noticed that may indicate where issues may be. Jordan let me know when we can do that tune after you hear from vince.

Will do as always. Hoping i get it back today, Vince was away for the weekend so he did not have time to work on it. But he replied to me yesterday early saying he will take a look at it.

Tonight is a date night with the girlfriend (apparently she likes harry potter? lol) so maybe before hand if i get it today. If not tomorrow night for sure.

I also tried to scope us out a deal on a wideband HPTuners combo. guy wanted way to much

I am wondering (yup still lurking here ) if the Trifecta-StageIII is exactly as GM made it - just cracked...
If this is so, then the aftermarket 60# injectors would be the whole issue...

It now looks like I'm taking my Cobalt down there incase anyone cared
