Back from downunder!

hey hey all. long time no post.

been back in Australia for about a month and ive missed the forum madness and missed my cobalt alot more.

short story.....grew up in aus....moved to canada about 6 years ago....back for a visit with the folks etc etc

my GOD how ive missed the Holden Commodores.
(General motors Holden = kinda australias version of GMC here, but quite different on alot of things)

the new 07 Commodore SS has an optional 5.0L Supercharged V8 and it looks mean as hell.

For those with some motor racing knowledge of australia, Peter Brocks passing/funeral were devestating, And made a huge impact on this years bathurst 1000 (which i really loved being able to watch on TV at least)

The amount of Skylines, Evos, WRX's and SS commodores on the road every day made me pee my pants.

Even got a very closeup inspection of an Evo 9 at the dealership but there wasnt a chance in hell he'd let me testdrive ahh well. had to try.

Anyways, got some goodies from the GMH dealership to add a real Aussie flavour to my Cobalt, (pics to come)

After driving a rental Toyota Yaris around for a month, right hand drive and left side of the road i can safely say it is SO nice to step back into my ss/sc.
