Filled up the tank with some new 94 put tune back in and now no problems. I really don't understand unless it was bad gas

just be careful that 94 isn't true gas, it has ethonal in it - that could be screwing you up, because any ethonal blended gas needs to run richer than using "real" gas...

The 10% E in 94 is very minimal skewing fuel trims

My problem was 3-7' detonation with a tiny throttle at 80-100km. any bigish gas input when warm would pull timing

co-op gas has no ethanol at all in it while almost every other company runs up to 10%

Husky causes my car to run like crap. Petro must not use as much E in their 94 otherwise I would probably have the same issue. It says it may contain up to 10% ethanol. Every company is different oh how much they put it

There are no gains to 10% E

I did a comparison with Coop 91 and Huskey 94 tuned for both with my TVS. The gains were very minimal, it left my wallet lighter and was stuck to having to fill up at huskys. Wasn't worth it at all.

its still only rated to 91 and you get less mileage out of it.

id rather run 100% petroleum based than 90% petroleum and 10% corn.

i get about 50km more per tank on co-op

i am not talking running 10 % ethenol jordan. im talking E85 for all the obvious reasons. a reason where i could care less on how much mileage i get, but in how much horsepower i get.

think outside the box jordan

Well for me with 91 and an octane booster it will detonate so bad power cuts out and does not on 94 (On rogers pass). I know this is because of my shitty tune but thats how I have to run it until USPS decides to get off their ass and bring my HP Tuners to me

I'm going to run 94 until it's easy to get E85 I already have to plan my gas stops to find 94 don't want to go to a fuel thats harder to find. Its easy to have a container for my meth in my truck and fill that when I buy gas.

Wow this thread has been really quiet today. So if I don not get my tuner tonight I told my brother that we'll rebuild his engine and get it going this weekend. I've been dying to go on a road trip with him in his 240 and me in my balt

meet the driver here.

between pulling decals off my car, doing the jobs for the day, and driving his ass around i been busy.

however its been a great day!

the best part is there is a job on my table right now that reminds me off the past. a past that is in almost everyones car from around here. i just want to thank the person who has requested the job. you actually made my year by asking for it. i will leave it up to him if he wants to share. it is the greatest compliment anyone has ever given me.
