I wouldn't read too far into that old magazine article. They tried to build it like an old school V8 and also didn't rev it and it didn't make **** for power. The new kit will be pretty cool. I don't think the gains will quite be as extravagant as most people are thinking unless you are going for an all out full high compression build on E85 or race gas, then you may be able to take advantage of the blower. For the average person the parasitic loss will most likely make the gains over the TVS1320 very minimal. One of the same reasons the Lysholm 1600AX didn't make anymore power than the TVS1320, however the 1900 will be a little more efficient than the 1600, but still dealing with the parasitic loss of spinning it. Time will tell.

I just got back from dropping Carolane off at the airport and there was an Audi that blew past me when he merged behind me when I pulled up next to him at the next light I told her watch he's gonna try and race me now. So when the light turned green he went and Carolane laughed as I spun second past him. And she said she can tell her friends she got to be in a race on the way to the airport in the AM

Found a bare mark IV block in Calgary for $300. Gonna go look at it and probably pick it up and start building a forged motor

Bring it!! I think it's terrible but seems to still hold it's own. The 2 races I won pretty easily but if I was full power they would have been rapes with buses

You mean engine? Are you gonna buy a stroker kit or something or what are you gonna do for a crank?

Its going to stay 454 ci. There are forged cranks out there for $500-$1,000 depending on which brand and what material you want to use. Pistons are going to be a little harder to find in stock bore and rods are everywhere in different lengths.

Cam choice might he limited depending if I want to run efi or carb

are you trying to prod him into posting, or is there something I'm missing?

BTW, I don't have the engine out, or the O2 housing off;
I do have the downpipe off, I did that before when attempting to remove the mounts before I borrowed yours - I literally twisted a socket extention while getting the downpipe bolts to crack...

Sorry I only notcied that you messaged me yesterday (I think I was out when you messaged me on wednesday evening).

Ya trying to get him to post. Well if you take the turbo off anytime and can spare it for a bit I'd be grateful

Nope but I turned mine down. I was talking to Jonathan about borrowing his extra manifold and o2 housing so I could port them and get them ceramic coated without any downtime then I'll port mine for Jonathan and give them back

porting a log style manifold will probably do nothing for spool time
