Yeah it's not a sports car, but I can still mod it and hopefully hit 13's with bolt ons

@kev glad too see we understand each other hahahah that GA of jonathan's is one cool car. for what it is, it is a total sleeper. i am not sure if it could take a stock sc but it would give it a run. i would say thats pretty quick for a quad 4.

I know that the tunes were revised for 2015, but I am unaware of the trucks having that much out of the 5.7 - it would seem silly to have more power in the truck over the heavier flagship "ponycar" that they are selling...

What year is yours again?

yup... looks like jibberish to me.

That sig was obviously & intentionally supposed to be slightly offensive - I figured that since I didn't have a Cobalt on a Cobalt site that I would get flamed non-stop ~ so I did that as a sort of credential thing...
I mean come on, it's a total underdog/sleeper...

When I used to run it at Race City, you wouldn't believe how many people would come up to me just beaming, and loving my car ~ they loved how understated it was, and couldn't believe how well it ran against "faster" cars...

I still would jump at the opportunity to run it against a stock, or nearly stock SS/SC at the track.
I am hopeful that it would beat the SS through the traps ~ kep in mind that the SS/SC dynos about 205-215whp, it's boosted, and my car is still naturally aspirated, running nothing tricky (all Odsmobile developed stuff).
Also, in bone stock trim it was rated at 180bhp ~ I am told that a bone stock Quad4HO is good for 200hp (wheel or brake??) with a header and good exhaust... but any way you shake it, that's still less hp than a stock SS/SC.
I have never had my car dyno'd, but when Jon last had his car dyno'd I was talking to Sammy about maybe getting my GA done once he had the bug ironed out on running fwd cars...

Have fun with that;
you are rwd, which in theory give you an advanatge over FWD vehicles, but you also have a weight bias that puts an insignificant amount over the drive tires...

ya sam still hasnt put the dyno in. i have no clue when that will happen.

as for modding a truck. it is a bad choice simply because it will just cost you too much in the end, specially on a dd truck. fuel consumption alone would make it too expensive. then reliability goes out the window, and in the end you still have 6000+ lbs lead sled. leave that truck alone and waste your money on a project car.

um, if that was refering to me, you might need to lay off on the meds...
Ask any of the locals - I'm not into the street scene - I'll go have fun at castrol, but not on the street...
I never said anything like that to you - beside why would I need to be bested three times? - I haven't mouthed off to you suggesting that I was so much faster than you...
That guy did.

i think kev wants to see us have a best of three. your in more of my catagory. i dont mind taking a trip to castrol to entertain this idea. kev would do the same to you as he did to me. it wasnt pretty i promise you that. however you and i would be interesting to say the least, of coarse i am talking about big bird. you can leave the GA at home, i am sure my car doesnt fit your stock qualifications anymore.

1 you didnt pay what he paid
2 your truck is considerably lighter.
3 your truck came with more cubic inches.
4 your truck is not a dd, it is a toy.
5 all toys are a waste of money including my car so, yes your truck is a waste of money too.
6 you fail to see what is really being said and that is dont waste your money on your DD, waste your money on a toy. it is cheaper in the long run.

I can always put it into 4 Lock. Guys are cutting 2.1 60'

The RT is running 14.1s stock in the quarter.

Guys are still getting over 20mpg while bolted and tuned on 91. I have to put 89 in it anyways right now.

Curb weight on my truck is 5481lbs. It is pretty heavy, but stock runs 14.8

I think 13's are doable.

No Jonathan I was joking around and just wanted to redeem a fellow white cobalt from a loss that's all it's nothing to do with you but from that pic it looks like you handed it to him.

And to EVERYBODY we have to go to Castrol this summer I wanna go more than once too. I am planning on buying some slicks and see what the baby can do. But would be fun to all get together and head up there kinda a cruise then drag racing all in one!! I've talked to Aaron about it already and he is in we just have to wait for warmer weather then set a date I AM IN!!
