Jonathan I put on my intercooler again this weekend and car is running better than ever with no meth I flowed 1lbs/min more also with less boost and no other tuning!! I would 100% recommend buying one! Now I just have to fix my meth line from popping off and dial in this tune It's really woken up and with that line coming off so no meth and a leak it held 23.5psi at 7k very happy so far I can't wait for meth and 25psi at 7k!!

2012. No Mods. I may look at a tune, intake and exhaust, but not until the warranty runs out.

should i or shouldnt i get the power steering recalls done? opinions please.

my thoughts are it has yet to give me issues and is solid. i also really do not like others (besides us) touching my car mechanically. if i was to get it done it would only be by jon's friend at southgate.

I had mine done then just over a year later it broke again and I had to pay the bill. So no don't do it. The worst that happens is you have to strong arm it a bit

Recalls are handled by techs that do the recalls. They don't give it to just any mechanic apparently. I tried having my guys do mine but they aren't recall techs

i doubt i will do it regardless. i dont trust gm too much. specially stealerships.

i have seen way too much crap go down when i worked for gm to trust a simple employee with a car like mine. god knows the guy would try to use the ebrake. next thing you know my car is parked into a vette. anyone who has spent 10 mins in a cobalt knows ebrakes are decoration.

I haven't done it on either car. I even bought a used power steering motor from a friend when mine went bad because I don't take my red one to the dealership for anything since they won't let me supervise lol.

its safer that way hahahahahahaha. i can see the teenaged car porter eyes light up like the fourth of july as he opens the door and is about to hop in. i have a spare power steering rack and ignition if needed. heck even some of the older mechanics will flog a customers car. it actually makes me wonder how many people actually got the recall done or is like us and dont trust dealerships.

Yeah I definitely would set the limiter to like 3k rpms if I ever had to hand my car over to a dealer or something lol

I wouldn't because I don't have that capability lol, MBC action. And it wouldn't build boost at 3k anyways haha

with the rev limiter at 3 k he couldnt get into much trouble with my car.

still i would have nightmares coz of the ls4 TB, its so touchy. i freaking love it tho, i hardly touch the pedal and it gets up and moving.

Yeah I have the LS4 on mine too, but its not really any more touchy than stock on mine. Limiter at 3k wouldn't get him out in front of traffic very quickly in my car haha
