After running the ZFR up to 26psi, I did a bit of damage to my current engine lol. Wasnt smart of me, but I wanted to test the limits. Rocker arms gone, bearings down the valve, broken valve did some piston damage, cam got pretty grooved. I tore it down thinking I would just repair with parts.... but I got a wicked deal on a new engine, so I thought why not. its half out already. 40k engine for 1200bux and an afternoon of work, keeps me busy.

I tuned it, and got a little overzealous with the boost. Stock trans, and I have the boost ramped in pretty tame so it will save the trans till I hopefully do a swap next year. I beat on the car with the K04 in there, so it wasnt any surprise that some things broke. I was fixing it either way... but this deal fell in my lap and I couldnt refuse.

I'm on-call as well this week. Making some good hours! But it sucks that everybody else is doing car meets and stuff. I really wanted to be in Calgary this weekend.

A slock LNF will take anything a ZFR can throw at it. Get someone else to tune your car haha.

Well Wert842 made some sick power on a totally stock engine even revving high on stock springs. If I had a ZFR and stock springs I wouldn't be that brave to rev it anywhere near 7k with spring for sure 26psi @ 7k

I think that's a happy dyno he was on seeing those are around E85 numbers but regardless still impressive. He daily's it on 28psi. A friend in Bismarck, ND is making almost 480whp with his stock LNF motor. Has been rolling aftermarket turbos for a few years now and it's still rippin.

its in my dyno thread.

161.5hp 153tq at the wheels.

but this dyno reads lower than a mustang dyno and 15% lower than a dynojet.

Jayson's charger dyno'd 367hp last year on a dynojet and he only did like 321hp on this dyno.

no K04 turbo cars made 300whp. even fully bolted and tuned. highest was nathaniel with 294hp and 345tq

other than possibly selling it in the fall nope haha. i was just curious as to what power it was putting out.

i told the dyno guy 150 and he said no way 130. first thing he did when he got out of the car was look at me and said that surprised me haha.

i just wanna know why my torque drops off so much between 2750 and 3300
