has anyone seen the guy driving the yellow balt in the SW? ive seen him a few times now. it looks like either a LS or LT but it could be a SS or SC, but hes got a full bodykit on, looks decent, its a little too much for me, and hes got the halo projectors, first gen. and dual exaust(which looks really nice.) hes also debadged (which is why i cant tell what is it) and hes got a low pro wing. and on winters.......

i've been down many nail biting side streets like wat your talkin about, thus far i've been lucky, no hits that i've noticed. But the side streets are fuking horrible........the city should be doing something about it........salt trucks? a small city crew of 4 ppl to take and pour salt down during the day??? something, ANYTHING, it'd still be better than the NOTHING they do now......

its the best when people have driveways onto semi busy streets and when the plows come around they completley block the driveways with like 2-4 feet of solid snow. then you see the people out slaving away trying to clear thier driveway haha.

So here I am in NW Alberta runing an excerces for one of our clients and am driving a rented chevy truck. I get out of the vehicle while it was running with the doors unlocked and one of the operators shuts the door and everything is locked inside with the keys in the ignition. So the truck is rented and I phone onstar and got the run around when trying to get them to unlock it. Apperently there is a code number obviously for theft purposes for them to unlock the vehicle. So the lady on the other end asked for said number and of cource I don't have it it being rented but if you could unlock it I will go to the nearest RCMP office and have them confirm who I am. She then procedes to say she is going to send out road side after I told her I was out in the bush in north west Alberta and no road side was going to come out her and to please just unlock the vehicle or I will break the window and. Send GM the f'in bill. So after about 2 hours I finally get her to understand where I was and that if she did not open the truck I would probably freeze to death and asked her if she could sleep knowing that she simply could of helped me instead of sendinge to my death. In the end she popped the doors.

It was unreal. Many times she was like I will send road side and I was like to where. Lady I am about 3 hours from any kind of dicernable population density. Down an in marked road where no one in there right mind would actually go into unless you had to. Then she tells me there is nothing she can do so finally I was like just phone the rental company and let them confirm it so she did and that is actually unlocked the doors. It still took a couple of hours to get this into her head. Geesh. It was a good thing it was 6* C today.

I gave them the vin plus the plate, told them it was a rental. I even gave them the number to the agency I rented the car from.

thanks for the interest in my powder coating post I had. This could be underway by the summer hopefully. I'll make sure you guys get some good deals. As for one response: yes, it will actually be affordable to the average joe.

Down the road I'll be looking for people to volunteer different parts for me to coat. (rims, engine parts, superchargers, etc) so if you guys have any ideas or wish to volunteer then drop me a pm and I'll get back to you!

Ha ha ok sweet. Do you use any of those rims in the winter? I need someone who has scratched winter rims to see how it holds up against salt and sand and rocks.

Vc??
