hell i'm sure the flying J truck stop at the corner of barlow and deerfoot (south end of barlow) has plenty of available parking

Sorry, here I was (honestly) thinking that you guys like to meet there because it's where the sreet racing scene meets up.

Frankly the whole foothills industrial area is terribly dirty, and that specific T-H's is openly watched by the cops ~ I have heard over and over again that just rolling into the parking lot in the evening makes you liable to have your plate recorded as a suspected street racer - frankly that's something I simply do not want to have on my record (official or not).

At 9pm I'd think that many coffee shops would still be open!?

I live in Riverbend, I know there's a new rather huge parking lot in Quarry Park - there's a Starbucks nearby...
There's also a Tim Horton's in Riverbend...

There's also a T-H's in Deerfoot meadows - the SE corner of the Costco parking lot... there should be good lighting and decent parking there too.

I guess you nailed it about the central location deal - there used to be a Tim Hortons right on McLeod Trail just south of Chinook - I think there's a new one a block or two north of the old location, but parking is going to suck bawls...

 

lol its all good. and yes that spot is known to the police and they do stake out barlow and keep an eye on everyone but as long as you don't drive like an idiot then your fine. i've been goin there for a few years now and never had a problem.

i think the biggest reason we meet there is a - tim hortons coffee and the biggest reason b - the show we get from watching all the dumb **** idiots get pulled over by the cops

 

steve nailed it hahahaah the entertainment is at most very funny specially when you get a massive accident from morons who show off. lol i too have been going there for a long time and only had a tailight warning before but however the tims at deerfoot meadows is just as good to me too so make up our minds here lol lets all meet on sat i am in for sure

I can tend to drive a little heavy footed, so I just don't want any indication on my record that I'm a suspected street racer - that's my main concern - I know I have gotten off lucky more than once - and at this time I have a spottless record.
