it wasnt a good day at sylvan lake a couple of years back for the boys. the local rcmp wrote a few tickets while the boys were trying to enjoy a day at the beach.

 

no there's more to it then that.

me and about 7 others decided to take a trip to sylvan to scope out the area to see if it would be suitable to have a meet there in the summer. well we parked our cars and went to go and get food (it was a sunday and very gloomy out, not many people were there). anyways we come back after eating and this douche bag wannabe cop was starting to give us tickets. we asked him what for and he told us it was because we were all parked illegally and he was giving us all tint tickets (i got lucky, cuz i didn't have tint at the time)

the guy was a total douche, he called his supers and the rcmp because apparently we threatened him and even his supers and the rcmp said this guy was power tripping. in the end they will never see a cobalt meet there again from us anyways.

also he wouldn't even let us repark, he said that if we move the vehicles then he will give us an evading an officer ticket and all sorts of other ****. this cop was a total douche.

 

wow...

yeah, I'd never want to go there again ~ this is actually surprising because that kind of bullying by the cops (the city of sylvan lake pays for them to be there btw) only scares people away - and considering all the revenue the city makes is from tourism... terrible move.

 

Screw Sylvan... I now have the same shade of tint on the STI I had on the cobalt! I shall not peel it again!!

and as for where I work... Brewsters in Lake Bonavista, and yes I bartend so the hours are horrendous

 

I haven't been to that Brewsters since my company was involved with the reno @ the resturaunt on Lake Bonivista.
I always liked Brewters (maybe not for he bar side... sorry).
I had thought all the Brewsters were gone - the last one I saw around was the one in Lethbridge, but it closed somewhere around a year ago...
Well, I guess I have another option for somewhere close to go for supper!

 

ahah there are a total of 6 brewsters in Calgary, 4 in edmonton, and 1 in regina.

if you havent been in a while (~ 1-2 years) you will be pleasantly suprised... I love their food, and the beer is a WHOLE other story... amazing.

Haha I'm glad that I didn't end up at that meet! I was wondering if anyone around here is running the OTTP stg.3 kit (TVS) or a twin charge kit?

Im running 60's, stage 2 belt, methanol injection. Im going to be putting a 2.9 on it soon which may force me to go to 79lb or 80lb injectors. Im also running 1.75inch primary header, 3 inch downpipe with high flow cat, with full 3 inch exhaust to the back and a injen intake. And custom tuned by pickles( Most important part...haha). I also have all the gauges and such to monitor. There is probably stuff im forgetting but that is it directly related to the TVS and its performance that i can think of. Have a bunch of other stuff as well.
Cooling mods im running OTTP HE and will be installing option B in spring ( need to get dual pass endplate someday)

Any questions let me know Car is coming out of storage in 2 weeks if you want to see what its like with TVS come for a rip

 

ya i may have to get that cause it sounds great anyways ya it isfunny cause there have been a few times where i have gone into booster juice and you then come in after and i was going to ask wat the exhaust was but just wasnt sure if i should anyways now i can put a face to the screen name

 

Yeh man that would be sweet to go for a rip with you, I will have my car out I believe if everything goes right on the 9th of April (last day of college ). What kind of numbers do you put down at the track and dyno... I am just assuming that you have done both haha. Also did you do the install yourself?
