Calgary - random talk thread
there are alot of factors that will make a clutch prematurely wear out... but who's to say it wasn't shot a while ago ~ I mean you don't know the histroy of the car...
the one thing I find funny is that you say it pretty hwas fine the, completely ineffective;
I would be inclined to think something went wrong, like either the clutch disc gave it the ghost, or the throw out bearing died... which could be from prior abuse, or simply bad luck...
you will only know what happened upon removal ~ and since it's out, there would be zero point in trying to salvage the parts - and only buy what's deemed to be kaput.
$150 + throwout a bearing is a smoking deal... and I'll be down in ten days

Aight, I sent you a PM Spaz. Any suggestions where to get a TOB/Slave cylinder in Canada (hopefully)? Looking for the LNF one as it's supposed to be an upgrade.
Thanks again guys, trusting you all on this one haha.

ha-ha... I guess that could seem to contradict...
IIRC there were two things that caused the stock LSJ axles to break;
- wheel hop
- too much torque
I need to stress the first reason though...
anyway that's why GM Performance divisions released this kit;
Wheel-Hop kit
I have more often heard it referred to as the "anti-wheel-hop kit"...
^^ so are you saying then that you need to find an SS/TC part out, to nab the axles
have you looked int AV to see if they have CV's listed for the TC's (that are specific to the TC's)?
