Calgary - random talk thread
It's kind of on the side of a spoke. Really not a huge thing, couldn't have been from the way the wheel was sitting on the ground. But I certainly didn't do that.
All I wanna know is... for a car of which they sold about 200,000 per year (plus Pursuits and G5's) why are there no flywheels in the entire country?

Almost like they should have just made the cars better to begin with. Enter: Cruze. Oh wait, aren't their steering wheels falling off?
It's all good... as long as the car makes it to October when my warranty runs out, then I have the summer to work as much OT as I can so I can get a Genesis or something.
I finally hit the track in Edmonton tonight. First time racing the Balt. Sadly the best time I could get was 14.708 with a 60 foot of 2.484. So lots of room to improve haha. Got my 60 footer down to 2.290 tho. By the end there was only a few cars still racing so I got to do a ton of passes at the end. With a passenger and a heat soaked car I was getting 14.9-15.1 so I'm going to say I improved even with the slower times.
Just looked at my slips. Did 5 passes in 27 minutes at the end. Good fun but poor iat2's and coolant lol

In Edmonton u allowed to r if u r slower than 14 seconds. But i bet u could be faster and have a passenger. They were pretty slack with the rules. People were wearing shorts racing which is also against the rules lol
First car that comes up on Kijiji fits that description: '07, 70k, $13k... don't think it will be hard to find one.

I am still considering pumping more money into this and getting an LNF. But if I find a cheap LSJ, I'm cashing in.

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Coupe - Alberta Cars For Sale - Kijiji Alberta Canada.
Was going to buy this until OT came up at work, won't have a chance to consider it til June and by then I'll likely be throwing the cam/exhaust in my truck and just keep it.
