think of it this way - if you had $2.50 could you buy a $3 item?
that's the way it works...
but also, the marks are only about required courses for what you need as a prerequisite - your 9%5 in home economics won't help you out there
on a completely unrelated matter, I just checked out this page - looks kinda cool!

here is the breakdown of it all. just to clear it up, cause i probably confused you guys lol. i hope they dont take much of grade 11 into account cause i didnt really try in my subjects
Option #1
- Take on an extra course and have 6 core subjects next year
- Average more than 80% in 5 of them
- Go through 4 years of post-secondary (college)
- End up with around $60,000 per year starting and the average salary is $120,000 per year
option #2
-Keep 5 core subjects and have an extra option
- Get at least 70% in all my core subjects
- do 2 years of post secondary
-end up with like $40,000 starting and an average of $65,000 per year
i really wanna do option 1

Also if you want take the 2 year degree at SAIT, if you still like school you can finish you petreleum engineering degree at 3 different schools with just another 2 years of school ( good route encase you are sick of school after two years) Still only 4 years of school then.
You can also go to work after the two years, then get the company you get a job with to pay for you to go back..........

Option 1 also involves 4 years of being in sausagefest classes and about 1.5 years of co-op work (do co-op since u get paid 25-30 an hour to sit around and do nothing and have a hell of a lot better chance of getting a job right out of school) Once your in it's really easy since everyone works together on everything and basically just cheats off eachother. I've had a couple friends do engineering degrees at UofA. I kinda wish I went that route lol

they must have changed their rules then;
when they first took over Pick Your Part, they instituted an 18yo (iirc) policy, didn't allow kids in the yard (but made a play room for them to hang out in, and started chargin admission... but made friday's "free admission friday";
IIRC last year they dropped the "free admission friday", and the kids play room turned into another garbage room, with a sign clearly stating kids were not supposed to be left unattended...
PNP blows goats... not to mention their sky-high prices (compared to what they used to charge) **** me off...
but meh... it's for the best the changes meant that I progressively went less (totally stopped going after they stopped free admission - unless someone needed something... and their sky high prices totally curbed my problem of collecting "extra" car parts...
ya, but that ECM was a good deal and those phasers. it depends on what you need i guess. ill probably just sneak out the nozzles cause theyll charge me like 5 bucks lol
