So apparently this was a two-mod day for the car hense-forth known as "the noisy car" (Read: Grand Am)

I had been thinking for the past week or so that it felt a little sluggish in the bottom end... and could have sworn that at idle it was running quite rich...

Sure enough my personal custom chip (this is an OBD1 car afterall) was in the basement!?

Swapped out the OE based chip I got from someone else...

And decided to swap intakes...

I pulled the car into the garage at about 9:30, and commenced the swap...

one extrude honed intake has been installed

my "two mod" day has come to a close...

 

it's done for now.

and being cut off so I now need to re size

there's a sig thread here spelling out the dims of any sig picture that will not be cut off...

iirc the sig picture I use is at roughly 99.8% of the allowable size where it won't get cut off... just an FYI.
